You may feel the sensation of a small pinch with each injection, however the Juvederm Vollure XC injections contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, to ensure patients feel comfortable. For additional comfort, a topical numbing cream can be applied.
How many treatments will I need to see results?
Typically, you can see results immediately, but the number of treatments needed varies from patient to patient, depending on the depth and severity of the wrinkles and folds.
Are there potential side effects of Juvederm Vollure XC should I be aware of?
The most common side effects are mild, including swelling, tenderness, bruising, redness, pain, discoloration and itching. These side effects are typically short term, and completely resolved within a week.
What is a Juvederm Vollure XC treatment?
The treatment is fast, and produces immediate improvements. You can expect multiple injections of the Juvederm Vollure XC product into the targeted wrinkles or folds. There is no downtime with the treatment, and you can return to your normal activities at once.
